The Goose Lock, designed by ABUS, is a form-stable, tactile, and visually appealing bicycle lock that also impresses with its color and design. It consists of several components: a classic 6-millimeter-thick steel chain, a gooseneck element, a foam cover, and a plastic fiber coating. The steel chain – like the housing and supporting parts of the locking mechanism – is made of specially hardened steel. The term "gooseneck" refers to two intertwined metal spiral springs that ensure the lock's shape. This allows the lock to be bent into the desired shape and wrapped tightly around the bicycle frame. The foam ensures a secure locking feel and rattle-free transport. The durable, highly flexible synthetic fiber coating provides excellent abrasion and scratch protection. Thanks to the shape stability and foam, the lock is very easy to transport. It does not rattle on the bicycle frame while remaining flexible.
