The Gravel King X1 is the result of over two years of meticulous development work and the first tread innovation in Panaracer's gravel lineup in over four years. Densely spaced, small blocks in the central tread area provide exceptionally low rolling resistance—lower than the Gravel King SK and even the Gravel King Semi Slick models. This is confirmed by both laboratory tests and real-world measurements. The side blocks are higher and more aggressive than those in the central area, which, combined with the unique tread shape, guarantees excellent control on varied surfaces and traction—both in straight lines and in tight corners. The X1 is a tire that not only impresses with its exceptionally low rolling resistance but also provides confidence and control on demanding terrain.
ZSG GRAVEL Compound
A special rubber compound developed for gravel riding, made from proprietary ZSG (Zero Slip Grip) material, provides excellent resistance to changing weather and temperature conditions, offering low rolling resistance and consistent grip across a wide range of temperatures – from near freezing to extreme heat.
TuffTex
A delicate, flexible carcass with excellent protection against punctures over the entire surface – from bead to bead.
BeadLock
A newly designed bead that fits a wider range of rims – including those without a hook – and in most cases allows for easy installation using a standard stationary pump.
