I'm on my way to work, what's going on?

May 17th is International Cycle to Work Day. To mark the occasion, the "I'M CYCLING TO WORK" campaign is launching, an initiative aimed at everyone who commutes to work. Its goal is to encourage cycling and reward those who choose this eco-friendly mode of transportation. The organizers want to get the word out—to show that cycling can be a daily companion, not just for special occasions. This will benefit our health, the environment, and the city. The campaign is organized by the creators of the Activy app, the first mobile cycling game where more than just kilometers counts.

Why am I filming for work?

According to analyses by the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF), cycling is on average 13 times less harmful to the environment than driving a car. According to the ECF, choosing a bicycle instead of a car or bus as a means of commute can reduce CO2 emissions by 750 kg per year, assuming four trips per week, each 8 km long. What else do you gain by choosing cycling as your primary mode of transport? First and foremost, you strengthen your body and take care of your fitness. Cycling to work every day!

The goal of our campaign is to recognize cyclists who ride every day. We also want to encourage those who ride occasionally," emphasizes Dorota Jurek, Chief Marketing Officer at Activa. Cyclists' active participation in the campaign will be rewarded. Points collected by cyclists will be converted into BikeCoins. These can be exchanged for discounts and prizes from our campaign partners, including Antymateria!

How to take part in the I'M DRIVING TO WORK campaign?

Simply download the Activy app from krecedopracy.pl , register, and join the open "I'M CYCLING TO WORK" competition. The app records every bike ride, for which you collect points and redeem for prizes in the Activy store.

How long does the campaign last?

The "Cycle to Work" campaign will run from May 13th to June 3rd of this year. Points for bike rides completed on May 17th—International Cycle to Work Day—will be doubled!
