How did Karol Werner end up riding our bikes this year? It's a simple story. We've been following Karol, or rather his blog, for a long time. He talks about how to have fun traveling by bike without breaking the bank. He also has a gift for sharing his experiences and practical advice in an engaging way. Check out the construction of our cyclocross bike.

WOŚP

Where did the idea for this collaboration come from? We were brought together by… an auction for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP). Karol donated his expedition bike to an Allegro auction for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. And since our "Polish" bike was also donated to a good cause, we felt we had something in common. So we decided to suggest he try riding our cyclocross bike this season.

First contact

We contacted Karol immediately after the auction ended. The disbelief in his voice that we were offering him a bike was deeply felt. Especially since Karol still couldn't believe he was getting a bike that would be custom-made and handcrafted for him.

What did it finally end up being?

On two cyclocross bikes. Yes, yes, two! His girlfriend Marta also got the same bike as Karol, and she rides long kilometers of off-road trails with him. The specifications of these bikes in brief are:

  • Antymateria: Cyclocross Frames, CX 1 1/8" Pivot Fork, Cantilever Brakes,
  • SHIMANO SORA: shifters, front derailleur, rear derailleur,
  • SHIMANO: 11 - 34 cassette, WHR 501 wheels,
  • PRO LT: Stem, handlebar.

We hope they'll prove to be a success. I mean, the bikes themselves :) And we'll keep you updated on how they perform on our Facebook page and, of course, on the blog :) And you can also follow Karol's expeditions on his blog Kołem się toczy . Antimatter Team. P.S. The bikes are already at Karol's, as he wrote about on his Facebook and talked about on his YOUTUBE channel.
