Author Rooms
Autor Rooms is located in a historic apartment in a beautiful tenement house at 17 Lwowska Street.
The interiors were designed by independent architect Mateusz Baumiller, and are being refined by friendly artists. Original works of art have been adorned by curators from Starter Gallery. Fashion designers from ZuoCorp designed bathrobes for the AUTOR, and the bathrooms feature organic Polish cosmetics from Tołpa and Red Dot-winning fixtures from BISK. The historic architectural fabric of stucco, creaking old floors, and patina will provide an exquisite and discreet setting for the avant-garde works. Each room is different, yet furnished with the same taste. Designer furniture and objects are provided by Beza Projekt, Maria Jeglińska, Comforty, Segiet Oniszh, Ultralight, Purpura, and BISK. The founders will continually strive to bring together works by the most interesting Polish artists and local brands in their hotel.
If a guest falls in love with a particular piece of equipment, we will enable them to purchase it and put them in touch with the creator responsible for the project, say the founders.
Hotel bikes
The hotel has added two Antymateria bikes to its equipment. The owners of the AUTOR chose a classic set: a men's model with narrow handlebars and a women's model designed for a more upright riding position. Both bikes are equipped with a simple, reliable single-speed drivetrain. Additionally, the women's bike has matching fenders. As for the colors, they chose subdued, cool-toned frames complemented by brown accents, perfectly matching the style of the apartments. They are the perfect complement to the hotel's offerings, allowing guests to freely explore the capital at their own pace while also providing plenty of fun.
Mamastudio
Autor Rooms was founded by Mamastudio, a renowned Warsaw studio specializing in creating visual brand communication. For over a decade, the studio has led the Warsaw market and set design trends. This is evidenced by national and international publications and numerous awards. The studio is renowned not only for its excellent designs but also for its incredible warmth, which, alongside its complete professionalism, makes clients want to return. Recognizing this value, the partners decided to try something new.
This season, the bikes have been very popular with guests; they are currently wintering here, awaiting inspection before another busy year. We hope that further initiatives like this will allow visitors to experience our city from a wonderful perspective – that of a cyclist. We want to fill the niche between budget hostels and private accommodations, and chain and luxury hotels. AUTOR attracts people seeking beauty, an unpretentious atmosphere, and contact with like-minded people. Our guests are interested in Polish culture, art, and design," the hosts emphasize.
