The next day we get on the bike, only to discover after a few kilometers that something doesn't quite fit, that it's not quite what we imagined. Did our eyes fail us? Perhaps! Choosing the right bike size requires greater precision. That's why, before ordering a bike from us, every customer takes a test ride.
Bike size - frame sizes
In reality, bike size is the frame size. Similar to wheels, they are specified in inches: 15, 17, 19 inches, etc. We've covered wheel size selection in a separate guide . You'll also find sizes listed in centimeters or sizes S–XL. Road bike sizes (from 45 to over 60 cm) are listed in centimeters, MTB frame sizes (from 15 to 22 inches) are listed in inches, and trekking and city frames (from 15 to 23 inches) are listed in inches.
When buying a bike online, the bike size is usually listed in the description, making it much easier to obtain the necessary information. When choosing a brick-and-mortar store, you can always ask a salesperson for help or check the size yourself. This is usually located on the seat tube. What size bike is best for me?
There are many conversion factors that help calculate frame size based on inseam length. In the previous version of this article, we included one of these, but unfortunately, it caused a lot of confusion and uncertainty, especially since the results didn't always match the tables below. Therefore, we suggest starting your sizing based on your height. If you know that your body proportions, especially your inseam length, differ significantly from average, we strongly recommend trying on a bike in person. It's better to spend a little more time before buying a bike and then enjoy a well-fitting frame.

It's important to remember that the above tables are generalizations, so it's always a good idea to try on a bike before purchasing. This is because frames vary in geometry, intended use, and measurement methods. Furthermore, most manufacturers use two-inch sizing, so you usually buy a bike in an approximate size. If you're unsure about your size and need to make a choice, it's always worth asking a salesperson for their opinion.
Witam, chciałbym zacząć przygodę z rekreacyjną jazdą szosową. Czy w przypadku takiego typu roweru dla wzrostu 168 cm rama o długości górnej rury w rozmiarze 520 mm i wysokości rury podsiodłowej 470 mm powinna pasować? Czy raczej trzeba szukać o oczko większego rozmiaru? Dodam, że na trekkingu jeżdżę na ramie "19, która jest na styk, ale to nie przeszkadza i jest mi wygodnie. Natomiast wiadomo, że tutaj geometria jest zupełnie inna.

Podpowiemy przy okazji, że sprowadzanie roweru z Holandii (przynajmniej używanego) to nieco ryzykowny pomysł. O jednoślady dba się tam zazwyczaj zdecydowanie mniej niż u nas ;)

Mam 174cm, noga po wewnętrznej 82 cm. Na oku mam miejską Spartę Tyros, używaną, w rozmiarze 49 cm, koła 28", czy ten rower ma szansę pasować? Zależy mi na wyprostowanej sylwetce, bez nacisku na nadgarstki.

POPRAWIAM POST- Witam,planuje kupić holenderski rower Batavus Diva V7 rower miejski ,rama 50-53 cm koła 28 cali, mam 156 cm wzrostu,czy taka rama będzie odpowiednia w tym przedziale? nie mam możliwości przymierzenia się do roweru bo będzie sprowadzany dla mnie z Holandii,nikt go dla mnie o moim wzroście nie sprawdzi(mogę tylko ufać ze mąż kupi go dobrze) zaznaczam ze nie mam nóg do nieba
Najlepiej przymierzyć :) 19 z pewnością odpada – ja mam 1,78 i jeżdżę na 17 ;)
Sądzę, że lepsza będzie mniejsza rama (koło 16), ale znalezienie porządnego roweru MTB w takim rozmiarze może być trudne, szczególnie teraz
