ANTY was founded at the end of 2013 thanks to the energy of Krzysztof Najder and Sebastian Smyl. They were brought together by a passion for working on bikes themselves and the belief that the market was missing light, simple and fast bikes made for city riding.
The first ANTY bikes were built in the shop and workshop at Tamka 33 — locally, by hand and close to the people who actually rode them.
In 2015, Przemysław Żebrowski joined as a shareholder, bringing strategic and business experience to the brand. At the end of the same year, ANTY moved to Warsaw’s Mokotów district, to a space at Skolimowska 6/16. The scale changed, there was more room to present models and organise the workshop more comfortably, but the most important things stayed the same: conversation, craft and bikes made to fit people.
Over time, bikes, needs and the city itself changed. ANTY changed as well — from the first city bikes to today’s projects, workshop services, collaborations, events and activities that help shape Warsaw’s cycling culture.
We want that culture to be open. For different people, riding styles, levels of experience and ways of using the city. We are building a place where people can feel seen, respected and invited into a conversation — whether they ride every day, return to cycling after years or are only just starting.
Today we operate in Warsaw as a brand, workshop and meeting place. What matters most to us is still the same: honesty, attention and the belief that a good bike should fit the person, not the other way around.
