What's new?

The biggest change is the redesigned C27 internal rim width, optimized for 35mm+ tires . Combined with a 50mm profile, C-LUX finish, and 2-Way Fit (tube/tubeless), this creates a setup for fast gravel riding. The new G3 lacing option combines stiffness and precision on the drive/disc side with greater flexibility on the other, improving vibration absorption. The setup weighs approximately 1410g (TBC), and the character forks are aimed at the racing segment.

What is the effect?

The Bora X is designed to be fast above all else. The profile and lacing provide immediate response to power, while the wider rim improves stability and handling on loose surfaces. A special carbon layup dampens minor vibrations, allowing the wheels to ride fast without unnecessary fatigue. In short, these wheels allow you to ride on gravel at speeds close to road speeds , while maintaining control.

Summary

The Bora X is a setup for those who approach gravel aggressively and want to combine a road-oriented ride with off-road stability. The biggest drawback? These wheels are designed for fast gravel riding—not necessarily for the most challenging, slower trails or heavy bikepacking. However, if you're looking for wheels for fast, mixed trails, the Bora X might be exactly what you've been missing.
