Ideal for motorcycles, cars, trucks, ATVs, land vehicles, boats, airplanes, and wheelchairs, this adapter lets you upgrade your third-party phone mount with Peak Design's strong, low-profile, easy-to-use SlimLink™ connection system, which now offers optional Qi2 wireless charging. It works with a variety of third-party modular phone mounting systems—specifically those using 1" or 20mm ball joints and sockets. These third-party systems allow for a nearly endless range of phone mounting configurations, and the Peak Design ball mount adapter enhances the system with incredibly fast and secure phone attachment. Choose from 3 mounting styles: Locking, Locking + Charging, or Charging Only. Locking mounts are more secure—they physically lock your phone in place and require a button press to release. Locking + Charging mounts offer instant, weather-resistant Qi2 wireless charging. All locking mounts have an integrated vibration isolator and are suitable for outdoor use (motorcycles, ATVs, boats, etc.). Charging mounts (non-locking) hold your phone magnetically and provide instant Qi2 wireless charging. They're suitable for any vehicle with an enclosed cabin (cars, trucks, airplanes) and can still handle the toughest off-road trails. Charging mounts are also MagSafe compatible, meaning they can be used with third-party cases or without a case at all.
All ball-mount adapters require a third-party phone mount that uses 1-inch (like RAM) or 20-millimeter (like Offroam, Tackform, 67 Designs) ball connectors (sold separately). Locking mounts require a Peak Design case or universal adapter (sold separately). The Qi2 charging version comes with a waterproof USB-C cable that requires a USB-C power source. USB-A and SAE (direct-to-battery) cables are sold separately.
